Video Submission

Clients must submit the full video of the test that will be used for the freestyle music editing process. The video may be recorded horizontally or vertically, preferably in a single continuous take, using a mobile phone or camera.

For best results, we recommend recording from the “C” judge position, as this provides the most accurate perspective for analyzing rhythm, timing, and movement.

Competition Date

When submitting the video, clients must include the date of the competition or event. This allows Equibeats to properly schedule the editing process and coordinate delivery within the required timeframe.

Music Editing Service

Equibeats provides professional music selection, editing, and arrangement of existing musical pieces tailored to the rhythm, style, and performance of each horse-and-rider combination.

The standard freestyle structure typically includes:

  • Entrance

  • Walk

  • Trot

  • Canter

If additional musical sections are required for movements such as piaffe, passage, pirouettes, shoulder-in, half-pass, or other lateral work, this must be indicated when submitting the project details, as additional editing may be required.

Audio Editing and Processing

The service includes professional audio editing techniques such as:

  • Smooth transitions and crossfading

  • Equalization (EQ) and sound balancing

  • Loop creation when required

  • Musical accents and effects to enhance the mix

  • Audio mastering and export to the required format

Final deliveries are provided in high-quality MP3 format (192–320 kbps).

Delivery Process

The first version of the project will be delivered as a video using the client’s original footage with the edited music applied. This allows the rider to clearly visualize how the music aligns with the horse’s movements and timing.

Any subsequent revisions or adjustments will be delivered in MP3 audio format.

Editing Timeline

A minimum of three (3) business days is required to deliver the first edited version, starting from the confirmation of the initial payment and receipt of all required materials.

Revisions and adjustments may require at least 24 hours depending on the requested changes.

Payment Terms

A 50% advance payment is required before the project begins.

The remaining 50% balance must be paid before the final MP3 files are delivered.

Work will only begin once the advance payment has been confirmed.

Revision Policy

Unlimited revisions are available within the first 30 days after the initial delivery.

Revisions requested after 30 days will incur an additional editing fee of $600 MXN per request. Examples include modifying songs, adjusting timing, or extending or shortening musical sections.

Cancellation Policy

If the client cancels the project after work has started, the initial 50% advance payment is non-refundable, as it covers time invested in music selection, editing, and production.

Project Inactivity or Abandonment

If the client fails to provide feedback, required materials, or communication for 30 consecutive days, the project will be considered inactive.

Resuming the project after this period may require an additional editing fee, depending on the work needed to reactivate the project.

Promotional Use of Content

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, Equibeats reserves the right to use excerpts or the complete edited video and/or audio for portfolio, promotional, and marketing purposes, including but not limited to website content, social media, presentations, and promotional materials.

Any promotional use will respect the integrity of the performance and credit the rider when appropriate.

Additional Information

Clients are encouraged to provide any specific musical preferences, choreography details, or test requirements when submitting their video to ensure the final soundtrack aligns with their expectations and performance goals.
